Customer Success Manager at Embargo, London
Overview
Embargo is the UK’s leading plug-and-play loyalty, ordering and CRM platform for hospitality,
powering the full customer journey across walk-ins, delivery, and click & collect. We
alreadysupport 3,000+ venues, including some of the most exciting and fast-growing SME
brands like Honi Poke, Badiani Gelato, Island Poke, Shoryu Ramen, Hermanos Coffee or EggSlut
to name a few.
We are looking for a commercially driven Customer Success Manager who thrives on hitting
targets and growing revenue of their clients. This role is all about owning a portfolio of partner
venues, maximising their success with Embargo, and delivering measurable business growth
through upselling, cross-selling, and GMV expansion.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Own the end-to-end onboarding of new venues, ensuring quick activation and time-tovalue.
• Build strong commercial relationships with decision-makers across your portfolio.
• Drive revenue growth by consistently identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within
your accounts.
• Deliver measurable GMV growth by advising partners on best practices and ensuring full
adoption of Embargo’s platform.
• Proactively manage churn risk and turn renewals into expansion opportunities.
• Regularly review account performance, create tailored growth plans, and execute them with
discipline.
• Consistently maintain an up-to-date pipeline in HubSpot and report on revenue progress.
• Share customer insights with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to influence strategy.
The requirements
• Strong track record in customer success, account management, or sales roles with revenue
responsibility (ideally SaaS or hospitality tech).
• Proven ability to hit and exceed growth and upsell targets.
• Commercially minded, with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable using data to identify opportunities and measure success.
• Resilient, target-driven, and proactive in hunting growth opportunities.
• Based in London with availability to work at least 3 days a week from our Hammersmith
Office (W6 7JP).
