The Role We’re hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our enterprise sales motion - focusing on both partner acquisition and direct business development. You’ll play a key role in generating pipeline, refining our outreach, and helping shape how we bring Shopwave to market. This is a hands-on, high-impact role - ideal for someone who wants to learn fast, collaborate with experienced commercial leaders, and make a real contribution from day one. You’ll help us move faster, go broader, and build stronger foundations for long-term growth. Key responsibilities include: ● Identify and prospect into enterprise merchants and strategic partners across our key verticals. ● Engage outbound leads via email, phone, and LinkedIn, qualifying opportunities and booking discovery meetings. ● Work closely with the C-suite to test and refine messaging, ICP targeting, and outbound strategies. ● Share insights from conversations to help shape go-to-market strategy, collateral, and product positioning. ● Support CRM hygiene, pipeline visibility, and reporting to drive structured, scalable outreach. ● Contribute to the development of SDR workflows, tooling, and playbooks as we build the team. The Ideal Candidate You’ll be a great fit if you demonstrate many of the following traits: Experience: 1–2 years in an SDR, BDR, or commercial role - ideally within SaaS or a high-growth startup. Enterprise Awareness: Confident engaging senior stakeholders and understanding more complex sales motions. Initiative: You’re proactive and comfortable figuring things out as we go. Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to build trust quickly. Collaboration: You work well across functions - especially sales, partnerships, and leadership. Curiosity: You ask smart questions and are always learning. Structure: You’re organised, detail-oriented, and confident using CRM tools. Ambition: You want to grow into a more senior commercial role as we scale. Bonus points for: ● Experience working in or selling into the retail or hospitality sector. ● Familiarity with Hubspot or similar CRM tools. ● Exposure to partner-led sales environments or channel-based go-to-market models.
