About Acquired Taste

Served™ is an allergen-aware restaurant software platform that turns a restaurant’s own ingredient, recipe and kitchen data into a more informative, interactive menu experience.

Restaurants build and maintain their menu information using the data they actually know—including ingredients, nested ingredients, supplier and brand information, allergens, cross-contact information and menu availability. Served structures that information behind the scenes and uses it to power the guest-facing menu.

Guests can filter and explore menu items based on specific food allergies or dietary needs, while the restaurant remains in control of the underlying information. Rather than attempting to determine allergens from public menu descriptions or making assumptions about a dish, Served works from restaurant-controlled data.

Served also supports live menu availability, allowing restaurants to keep what guests see aligned with what the kitchen can currently serve. The platform is designed to make complex menu information easier for restaurants to manage and clearer for guests to understand.
